• Sam Audrain, PhD

    Assistant Professor

    Dr. Audrain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University. She completed her BA at McGill University and her PhD at the University of Toronto. Before returning to McGill, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Audrain’s research utilizes fMRI and EEG to understand the neural substrates of long-term memory formation, storage, and retrieval in typical adults and in populations with memory dysfunction. Outside of the lab, she enjoys hiking, painting, and reading a good book.

  • Mary Zhang

    Mary is a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and Economics, with a minor in French. This year, she will be working on her undergraduate research project, which focuses on the quality of memory for overlapping information. She is particularly interested in the effects of schemas on memory quality and retrieval. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading, creating digital art, and photography. 

  • Hora Ansarian

    Hora recently graduated with an honour’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Management. Currently she is working as a Research Assistant for the Audrain lab. She is interested in the neural processes involved in memory formation and retrieval, especially in individuals with memory dysfunction. In her spare time she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her family.
